We are thrilled to announce that The Montclair Girl has recognized Ascot Manor Sport, Inc. founder Ahlilah Longmire as one of "5 New Jersey Locals to Watch in February 2025." This acknowledgment highlights Ahlilah's dedication to empowering under-resourced junior tennis players of color and her significant contributions to the Montclair community.

With over two decades of experience in sports, entertainment, and consumer goods, Ahlilah established Ascot Manor Sport, Inc. to support talented young athletes, particularly those of color and American junior tennis players, in accessing competitive tennis opportunities. Her previous venture, The Tesla Group, was a PR and marketing agency founded in 2007, collaborating with top athletes and brands. Now a Montclair resident, Ahlilah is committed to expanding Ascot Manor Sport, Inc., strengthening the local tennis community, and creating more avenues for young players to thrive. Exciting plans are underway for a local tennis shop and a new project poised to make a significant impact on the sport.
Ahlilah's appreciation for Montclair's vibrant scene is evident in her local favorites, including Egan + Sons, Tierney’s, and the British Pie Store. She also admires the creativity of unique spots like Vesta and Pasta Ramen.
We invite you to read the full feature on The Montclair Girl's website to learn more about Ahlilah's inspiring journey and her vision for the future of tennis in our community.
